5160 Yonge St, Toronto · 4,118 sq ft

L’Occitane wanted their Toronto office to carry the same luxury, warmth, and Provençal soul as their retail stores. A small footprint — just over 4,000 sq ft — but every square foot had to earn its keep as brand. Verve curated a furniture and display package that reads unmistakably L’Occitane from the reception desk to the last meeting room.

Project Requirements

01

Brand

Yellow accent wall, backlit signage, lavender displays, natural materials — the office had to lift the retail experience straight from the bottle.

02

Local

Meeting rooms that tied the Provençal story to a Canadian context — custom millwork, Lake Louise murals, and a canoe-inspired bookshelf.

03

Versatile

Flexible lounge and communal furniture that could host visiting partners, internal team syncs, and product workshops in the same week.

The Solution

L'Occitane meeting room

A Retail-Grade Reception

The reception desk, display millwork, and accent seating were specified to feel continuous with the L’Occitane store experience. Product display shelves, curated floral accents, and a softer lounge chair lineup pulled directly from the retail palette — so that clients and candidates walk into something they already recognize.

A Canoe-Inspired Bookshelf, and Other Signatures

In a brand-forward project, the memorable pieces earn their keep twice. We specified custom-built meeting-room tables, a canoe-inspired bookshelf that ties the Canadian location to the Provençal heritage, and a pair of lounge chairs in a soft camel that reads equally well in a product shoot or a Tuesday team meeting.

Every Square Foot Earning Its Keep

On a 4,000 sq ft floorplate, nothing can be filler. We specified lounge furniture that doubles as overflow meeting seating, a kitchen island that hosts morning coffee and afternoon brainstorming, and workstations sized for a team that shares a lot of the day at the same table. A small office that works harder than offices twice its size.

Delivered

A brand-forward, boutique headquarters that functions as a natural extension of L’Occitane’s retail identity. Employees feel inspired, visitors feel welcomed, and every piece of furniture reads like it belongs next to a lavender field in Provence.
