Peninsula runs a high-performance, office-first culture — and needed a headquarters that would pull their team in, not push them out. The brief was for a floor that read brand the second you stepped off the elevator, made collaboration feel effortless, and gave every room a reason to be there. Verve specified the full furniture package across reception, boardroom, open floors, and the café lounge — Peninsula’s largest project, and one of its most expressive.

Peninsula reception

Project Requirements

01

Brand

A reception and arrival sequence that reads Peninsula the moment you walk in — navy, yellow, textured backdrops, and signature millwork.

02

Hospitality

Coffee, café, and lounge zones specified like a boutique hotel — plush seating, warm lighting, spaces where spontaneous meetings happen.

03

Performance

Ergonomic task seating, sit-stand desks, and the right acoustic conditions for a sales floor that runs hard every day.

The Solution

Peninsula boardroom

A Custom Oversized Boardroom

We specified a custom-built oversized boardroom table — longer than any standard catalogue size — ringed with high-back executive leather chairs and set under a deep navy accent ceiling. The table carries the firm’s biggest quarterly meetings, an entire leadership team, and still leaves room for guests on the ends.

A Café That Doubles as a Social Engine

The café and lounge were specified like a hospitality project — plush seating, warm wood finishes, soft lighting, and a coffee counter built to pull the team out of their desks twice a day. Loose lounge pieces were chosen on a single fabric palette so the space can be reconfigured for town halls without looking like a banquet hall.

The Sales Floor, Engineered

Every desk got a sit-stand base, a monitor arm, and an ergonomic task chair specified for eight-hour days on the phone. Felt screens between workstations kept the acoustic environment manageable without hiding the team from each other. The kind of detail that doesn’t photograph, but that the floor feels every afternoon.

Delivered

A dynamic, people-first workplace that validates Peninsula’s office-first culture on day one. Visitors see the brand. The team sees an office they actually want to be in. Leadership called opening day “jaw-dropping.”
